Dr. Ajimsha MS, is a recognized leader in rehabilitation and the Director of Rehabilitation at Qatar Rehabilitation Institute under Hamad Medical Corporation. His illustrious career is marked by pioneering advancements in clinical innovation, research and international collaboration. Working alongside Prof. Hanadi Al Hamad, Dr. Ajimsha has been instrumental in transforming Qatar into a regional leader in advanced rehabilitation services, aligning with WHO’s Rehabilitation 2030 initiative. A driving force behind improving the rehabilitation research culture in Qatar, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives to embed evidence-based practices into clinical care, fostering a thriving ecosystem of innovation and inquiry.
His leadership has also been pivotal in initiating WHO collaborative rehabilitation studies in Qatar, positioning the nation as a key player in global rehabilitation research and development. Dr. Ajimsha played a central role in the success of the first-ever Qatar International Rehabilitation Conference, First Global Rehabilitation Research Symposium series, introduction of CARE concepts (Cardio Adapted Rehabilitation Excellence), Neuro cardiac and Neuro Vision Rehabilitation programs, among other groundbreaking programs, while leading initiatives like #OneRehabilitationWorld to promote international knowledge exchange. His development of the PRAIWeST model highlights his commitment to precision rehabilitation, utilizing predictive analytics, wearable sensors, machine learning and tele-rehabilitation to revolutionize patient care. With over 35 high-impact publications, triple doctoral degrees, an MBA and advanced Fascial Fitness Trainer certifications, Dr. Ajimsha’s expertise spans neurological rehabilitation, fascial science and advanced therapy methodologies.
