Occupational Medicine Specialist with a long professional career in the practice of occupational medicine based on scientific evidence. With interest and experience in the teaching field, both at the University of Barcelona, the Pompeu Fabra University and various training cycles. Dr Villar is interested in training Specialists in Occupational Medicine and Nursing and have extensive experience in mentoring residents. With research experience in projects, including Dr Villar's main work, which resulted in Dr Villar's doctoral thesis on pregnant workers and workplace management. Interested in health and wellness promotion programs for workers and an advocate for the importance of mental health in companies. Member of several scientific societies and advisor in occupational medicine journals. Currently, Dr Villar serves as the Head of the Occupational Risk Prevention Service at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, Spain.
