Dr. Matalkah serves as the Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program, ensuring the education and training of future surgical leaders. His passion for teaching extends to his roles as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and at Khalifah University.

A dedicated contributor to the academic community, Dr. Matalkah has authored two influential book chapters on breast surgery and has a prolific portfolio of publications, particularly in the realm of breast cancer.
