MBBS, CABOG, Fellowship in gynecological oncology, laparoscopy, and International College of Robotic Surgeons.
Dr. Afaf is a senior consultant OB/GYN and gynecological oncology being the first and only Qatari consultant specialized in Gynecologic oncology at Women wellness and research center.
Dr. Afaf is actively involved in the development of cervical screening program and establishing the service for management of women with gynecological cancer in Qatar.
She is appointed as clinical lead for Gyn-oncology MDT since 2015 and WWRC OT lead since 2019.
She led and participated in a wide range of quality improvement projects within WWRC and surgical skills development programs.
