Dr. Shima Elbakhit Albasha MBBS, Fachartzt, REI Dr. Shima is a Sr. Obstetrician and Gynecologist Consultant and is currently the Acting Head of the Section of Reproductive Medicine in the Women's Wellness and Research Center, HMC, Doha, Qatar. She studied at LMU University of Munich, Germany, specializing in Reproductive Medicine, and holds certificates in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Facharzt). She earned her Fellowship in Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine Saarland University, Germany.
Additionally, Dr. Shima plays a key role as the REI Fellowship Program Director for the Section of Reproductive Medicine (SORM) at HMC, where she oversees and teaches Fellows, helping them develop into leaders in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. Dr. Shima has been a part of HMC since 2002.
Recently, Dr. Shima has taken on the role of Vice Chair of the Arab Board for Reproductive Medicine, adding another dimension to her leadership roles in the field.
