​Dr. Mohammed Bashir

“ Dr. Bashir graduated From the University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1999 and in 2006 completed his basic medical training in Ireland, obtaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI).
 After successfully defending a thesis titled "Effects of Smoking on the Metabolic Control and Urinary Biomarkers in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus," he received a Medical Doctorate (MD, PhD) from the University College of Dublin in 2011.

 In 2012 Dr. Bashir completed his higher training and was registered as a specialist in internal medicine, endocrinology and diabetes with the Irish Medical Council and the General Medical Council.

 He has worked as a Consultant in Endocrinology in South Tipperary General Hospital and Beaumont Hospital in Ireland before joining Hamad Medical Corporation in 2014.

He is Currently serving as the National Diabetes Centre-WWRC's director  He has many  peer-reviewed publications and a broad range of research interest in the areas of diabetes and metabolic disorders."
