Dr. Salwa M Abuyaqoub

Dr. Salwa holds several key roles at the Women's Wellness and Research Center (WWRC), Qatar. As a Senior Consultant and Chair of Obstetrics, she concurrently serves as the Residency Training Program Director of Ob/Gyn and holds the position of Vice Chair for Education and Training. Her extensive involvement in education spans since 2009, with a primary focus on residency training and education initiatives.

Dr. Salwa has been instrumental in developing various courses, including Basic Surgical Skills in Ob/Gyn and TeamSTEPPS, emphasizing interdisciplinary communication in emergencies. Notably, she pioneered the first OSCE training program in the Middle East for Arab Board and MRCOG Training candidates, continuing this endeavor annually since 2014.

She actively contributes as an Instructor at the Hamad International Training Center for ALSO & BLSO, as well as Team STEPPS courses. Her contributions extend to numerous peer-reviewed publications, presentations at various local, regional, and national events, and active involvement in multiple committees both locally and internationally like Chair of Arab Board Examination Committee in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Vice Chair for Examination Committee OF Qatar Board of Medical Specialization and International Review Committee member of ACGMEI (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical education International). Dr. Salwa's dedication and contributions underscore her commitment to advancing medical education and training in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
