Dr. Jamieson Bourque, MD, MHS, is a Professor of Medicine and Radiology at the University of Virginia, where he is the medical director of nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and the stress laboratory. 

He is President-elect of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, is the immediate Past-President of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Cardiovascular Council, and serves on the ACC Cardiovascular Imaging Leadership Council. 

He is the founder of the ASNC Imaging Indications Series and chair of its first topic, 18F-FDG PET/CT and radiolabeled leukocyte SPECT/CT imaging for the evaluation of cardiovascular infection in the multimodality context. He has participated in multiple other societal documents and guidelines, including serving as co-chair of the multimodality amyloid consensus statement. 

He has an active research program in microvascular disease, exercise, and nuclear cardiology and performs research in predictive analytics.
