
Dr. Ramy Mansour is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa. He is the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) Global Ambassador and the former RCR BSSR Travelling Professor (2019-2021). He previously worked at Oxford University Hospitals, where he served as the MSK Imaging Clinical Lead. He is the ISS Outreach Program Regional Coordinator for North Africa and the Middle East (MENA). Dr. Mansour was the MSK Team Lead for the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) from 2019 to 2023.
He trained at Oxford University Hospitals and obtained the Royal College of Radiologists Fellowship (FRCR) in 2005. Dr. Mansour completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, in 2006. He has expertise in MSK magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, computed tomography, and image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal interventional procedures.
He is an invited speaker at national and international conferences, having delivered more than 500 lectures in countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. He has published articles and abstracts in the medical literature and is regularly asked to peer-review articles for national and international journals.
Dr. Mansour is a member of the British, European, and Asian Musculoskeletal Societies, as well as the Skeletal Society of Radiology (SSR) and the International Skeletal Society (ISS). He is an active member of the ISS Outreach Committee and serves as the Regional Coordinator for North Africa and the Middle East. He is the winner of the RCR's inaugural International Travelling Fellowship Award (2017-19).
