Professor Martin Wullschleger
MD, PhD, FRACS, FACS, FISS, FMH, EBSQ Trauma
Professor Martin Wullschleger is a Swiss and Australian trained General and Trauma Surgeon, currently appointed as Senior Staff Specialist in trauma and acute care surgery and Clinical Director of Orthopaedics & Trauma at the Gold Coast University Hospital, Queensland, Australia. Apart from his clinical passion for trauma patients, he is a recognised trauma leader developing trauma services and trauma systems at the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas as well as across Queensland. He is heavily involved in trauma training activities including DSTC, ATLS, SSRF and ABSET courses, and is part of the international DSTC faculty and a member of the IATSIC Council. Professor Wullschleger is the current Chair of the QLD Trauma Committee of RACS, the immediate past Chair of the QLD Trauma Clinical Network, and he has got academic appointments with Griffith University as Professor of Traumatology, and with Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane.
