Dr. Ron Daniels BEM 
Chief Executive of the UK Sepsis Trust

Dr. Ron Daniels BEM is the Chief Executive of the UK Sepsis Trust where he provides clinical advice to NHS England, the Department of Health and the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, Royal College of Anesthetists and Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine. He is also Chief Executive of the Global Sepsis Alliance and was instrumental in bringing the Chairman’s concept of the World Sepsis Declaration to fruition.
He is a successful medical innovator and leader with particular experience in translational impact. He is also an advisor on clinical applications, systems integration and translational medicine in the fields of severe infection, antimicrobial stewardship in the clinical setting and sepsis, and co-developer of the Sepsis 6 treatment bundle, in use in most British hospitals and saving lives in 28 other countries.
Dr. Daniels British is the recipient of a British Empire Medal (BEM), a British and Commonwealth award for meritorious civil or military service worthy of recognition by the Crown.
