    In observance of the holy month of Ramadan, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced its Ramadan operating hours.

    All emergency services across HMC’s network of hospitals will continue to operate 24/7. Hamad General Hospital’s (HGH) Outpatient (OPD) morning clinics will run from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday. Evening clinics will take place from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

    Satellite pharmacies at HGH’s Pediatric OPD on the 2nd to 4th floor of the hospital will open from 8 am to 1 pm. The main OPD pharmacy located on the ground floor will open from 8 am to 2 pm and from 8:30 pm to 12 am (midnight).

    The HGH Phlebotomy (blood test) OPD laboratory will open from 7 am to 2 pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday. For evening clinics, the OPD Laboratory will open from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

    Women’s Hospital OPD will open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday, and in the evening from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Sunday to Wednesday. Women's Hospital Pharmacy will continue to operate 24/7.

    Al Wakra Hospital’s OPD will open from 8 am to 1 pm (Sunday to Thursday) and will also open 8 pm to 11 pm (Sunday to Wednesday). The OPD pharmacy will have the same timings.

    The Obstetrics/Gynecology clinic will open from 8 am to 4 pm (Sunday to Wednesday) and from 8 am to 1 pm on Thursday. Physiotherapy will operate from 8 am to 1 pm (Sunday to Thursday) and from 8 pm to 11 pm on Monday and Wednesday.

    OPD Clinics at The Cuban Hospital will open to patients from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday. Some clinics will have extended hours but patients booked for these clinics will be contacted individually to confirm appointments. After hours emergency dental services for treatment such as emergency dental work and temporary fillings will be available to walk-in patients. The OPD pharmacy will open from 8 am to 1 pm or when any clinics are open. The Emergency Department pharmacy is open at all hours for urgent prescription refills.

    OPD Clinics at Heart Hospital will operate from 8 am to 1 pm (Sunday to Thursday). There will however be no evening clinics at the hospital throughout Ramadan. Evening clinics will resume on Sunday 26 July from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

    Al Khor Hospital’s OPD and pharmacy will open from 8 am to 1 pm while the Emergency Department’s pharmacy is operational 24/7.

    OPD Clinics and Pharmacy at Rumailah Hospital (RH) will operate a morning shift only from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday. The Dental Clinic will open in the morning from 8 am to 1 pm, and in the evening from 8 pm to 10:30 pm. The Dermatology Clinic will open from 8 am to 1 pm.

    RH’s Hands Unit will open from 7 am to 3 pm and from 11 am to 7 pm every day except Monday. The Maxillofacial Unit will operate an evening shift from 8:30 pm to 11 pm from Sunday to Tuesday. The Tuberculosis Clinic will open from 8 am to 5 pm and the DOTS Therapy unit will see patients from 7 pm to 10 pm. There will be no evening clinics at the Psychiatry and Geriatrics departments.

    The Physiotherapy Clinic at RH will operate from Sunday to Thursday as follows: National Center for Cancer Care and Research’s (NCCCR) Neuro-Physiotherapy Section (7 am to 3 pm); Male Out-Patient (MOP) Orthopedic Physiotherapy (7 am to 11 pm); and Female Out-Patient (FOP) Physiotherapy (7 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to 12 midnight).

    The NCCCR OPD Clinics will open from 8 am to 1 pm every day except Friday and Saturday. The OPD Pharmacy will operate from 8 am to 1 pm daily except on a Friday. The Unit Dose IV Admixture section will open 24/7 while the Chemotherapy section will open from 8 am to 2 pm every day except Friday. The Narcotic section will operate from 8 am to 1 pm daily except on Friday and Saturday. The Day Care Unit will open from 7 am to 3 pm every day except Friday. The OPD evening clinic will be open every Tuesday from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

    Patients are encouraged to contact the relevant hospital if they have any inquiries regarding the timings for specific services.

    The Referral and Booking Management System (RBMS) will operate from 7 am to 10 pm, Sunday to Thursday. Referrals will be collected as usual from centers throughout Doha and patients will be called to book their first visit appointments. 
    The Hamad Patient Contact Center (HPCC) will operate from 7 am to 10 pm, Sunday to Thursday and from 10 am to 4 pm on Friday and Saturday. Patients requiring any information can call (+974)44395777 during these times to inquire about or change their appointments. The contact center will continue to make appointment reminder phone calls to patients and will also continue to send mobile text message reminders to patients during Ramadan.
