    The Corporate Communications Department at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) recently hosted its annual Suhoor (Ghabga) for department staff, their family members and local journalists.

    Speaking at the event which was held at Sharq Village and Spa in Doha for the fourth consecutive year, Mr. Ali Al Khater, Chief Communication Officer at HMC, said: “The aim of our annual Suhoor is to encourage team bonding outside of the regular work environment not only between our own staff but also media colleagues we all regularly work with.”

    He thanked the journalists and media experts for their presence at the event and honored them for their regular coverage and support of HMC’s various activities throughout the year.

    Mr. Al Khater also expressed gratitude to and honored HMC's Sealine Medical Clinic team who were present at the event for their dedication to the successful running of the clinic throughout the camping season.

    Dr. Hamed Ghareeb, Medical Supervisor at the Sealine Medical Clinic gave a short speech at the event highlighting the success of the clinic during the camping season and commending the efforts of the paramedics, physicians, and nurses who worked at the clinic during the season. Mr. Ghareeb also praised Mr. Ali Al Khater for his support of the clinic which he described as pivotal to the success of its activities.

    Mr. Ali Darweesh, Assistant Executive Director of HMC’s Ambulance Service, also spoke at the event, highlighting the role of his department in transporting patients to the successful Sealine clinic.
