Doha 31 March, 2022: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced changes to the operating hours of a number of services for the Holy Month of Ramadan.
All emergency and inpatient services across HMC’s network of hospitals will continue to operate as normal, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
The changes to operating hours affect a number of services delivered remotely via the national COVID-19 helpline number: 16000

HMC Outpatient Department Clinics
HMC’s Outpatient Department clinics will operate 9am to 2pm Sunday to Thursday.
HMC Urgent Consultation Service
Ramadan service hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9am – 2pm

Mental Health Services Helpline
Ramadan service hours: 9am to 5pm, Saturday to Thursday

Ramadan service hours: 9am to 2pm, Saturday to Thursday

Hamad Dental Services
All Hamad Dental Services outpatient clinic timings will be 9am to 2pm and 8.30pm to 11.30pm Sunday to Thursday with the exception of orthodontics and pedodontics clinics which are 8am to 4pm Sunday to Thursday.
HMC Diabetes Hotline
- Will operate seven days a week from 8am to 5.30 pm
- Call 16099 and select 4
The Diabetes Hotline is run by trained diabetes educators with backup physician. People with diabetes also can send any diabetes-related concern on the diabetes educators email dehgh1@hamad.qa or to the diabetes Whatsapp number 33495775 after hours and they will be answered within 24 hours.

Emergency Services
All Emergency Departments, Pediatric Emergency Departments and inpatient services across HMC’s network of hospitals will continue to operate as normal, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Blood Donation
Old Blood Donor Center next to Hamad General Hospital: Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 1pm and 6pm to 12am. Saturday hours will be 6pm to 12am.
New Blood Donor Center opposite next to Surgical Specialty Center: 6pm to 12 midnight, Sunday to Thursday (closed in the morning)
Both centers are closed Fridays.
HMC’s Nesma’ak Customer Service
Nesma’ak Customer Service helpline, 16060 will operate 7am to 10pm, seven days a week.
