DOHA 17 February 2025 – Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has concluded its inaugural International Conference on Wellbeing and Workplace Health 2025 (ICEWWH), drawing professionals from across the healthcare sector to discuss the future of workplace health and employee wellbeing.
Over 1100 participants joined the conference, held from 13 – 15 February 2025 at the Itqan Clinical Simulation and Innovation Center and Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and Convention Hotel. The conference was a significant milestone in promoting a solution-focused approach to enhancing employee wellbeing.
Themed “Enhancing Employee Wellbeing through Solution-Focused Approach,” ICEWWH 2025 featured global thought leaders, industry experts and practitioners who shared valuable insights, research findings, and actionable strategies to create healthier, more resilient workplaces. The conference addressed the growing importance of prioritizing employee wellness as a critical factor in organizational success.
Renowned speakers from around the world delivered engaging keynote addresses, participated in panel discussions and led plenary sessions, offering innovative perspectives on employee wellbeing. Participants also had the opportunity to attend 12 diverse workshops, take part in the unique interactive Wellbeing Journey, connect and network with global professionals and gain firsthand knowledge of practical tools for enhancing workplace health.
A standout feature of the conference was the Wellbeing Journey, where participants had the opportunity to assess their physical and mental health at specialized booths that then created a customized wellbeing journey. In addition, attendees engaged in physical activities, relaxation experiences and VR sessions, providing a holistic approach to workplace wellbeing.
This conference is a testament to HMC’s ongoing commitment, having been honored with the Best Wellbeing Program Award at the CIPD Middle East Awards 2024, reaffirming its position as a leader in workplace wellness. HMC’s employee wellbeing and workplace health initiatives have expanded beyond the organization, reaching the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC). The expansion signifies HMC’s continued efforts to support a broader workforce wellbeing, with further plans for future growth.
