
Dr. Aftab Mohammad Azad MD, ArBEM, ABEM I, FRCPC
Dr. Aftab graduated from McGill Emergency Medicine Residency program - Montreal, Canada in 2015 and joined Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard Medical School for Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship. He has been involved in teaching Point of Care Ultrasound Courses at international level since 2013. He was designated as the Site Director for HMC and First Regional Director of CEUS for the Middle East in March 2014.
He received the award of Honor to be the first Qatari citizen who graduated from North American Emergency Medicine Training Programs. Currently he is working as an attending physician (Consultant) in Emergency Medicine at Hamad General Hospital, Director of Emergency Medicine Point of Care Ultrasound, Associate Program Director of Emergency Medicine Residency, Assistant Professor at College of Medicine QU, and Member of Curriculum development faculty at Weil Cornell Medical College Qatar. He has also been appointed as Member Board of Directors – Gulf Federation of Emergency Medicine.
