Dr. Mansoor Ali Hameed

Dr. Mansoor Hameed is a Consultant in the Department of Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation and an Associate Program Director of the Pulmonology Fellowship at Hamad General Hospital.
Dr. Hameed qualified and trained in the UK; he worked initially as a junior doctor in London and then did his specialist training in the southwest of England. He was working as a Consultant Respiratory Physician in Torquay Southwest England, until his move to Doha in 2016. Dr Hameed is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians UK. He has served as the College Tutor for the Royal College and is an active MRCP (UK) PACES examiner.
Dr Hameed has several certifications and courses in medical education, and was an Honorary University Fellow and Academic Tutor at the Peninsula School of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Plymouth. He has been a clinical and educational supervisor to core, specialist and GP trainees in UK.
Dr Hameed has certification in thoracic ultrasound from the Royal College of Radiologists and has been training specialist registrars and consultant colleagues in thoracic ultrasound in UK. His interests are in medical education and service improvement and he was the recipient of the best service improvement abstract at the International Primary Care Respiratory Conference Edinburgh in 2012.
