Dr. Gauri Chauhan is a Senior Manager and Clinical Psychologist at Hamad Medical Corporation. She has over ten years of previous experience of psychotherapy in the UK including: private psychiatric hospitals working with acute psychiatric patients, eating disorders and addictions; hospices working with terminally ill patients, their carers and bereaved families; in a care home for people with physical and learning disabilities; and private practice.
She has also been a lecturer in counselling courses at Guildford College and the University of Roehampton, UK, has published research exploring the use of photographs in therapy, and her doctoral research explored stories of comedy and tragedy in psychotherapy.
