Dr. Omar Dulaımy is a third-year psychiatry resident at Hamad Medical Corporation. He graduated from All Saints University School of Medicine and prior to that he completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Brock University, Canada
 
 
   
 
 
During his residency program, he is serving as the Residency Program Coordinator at the Mental Health hospital, where he coordinates weekly meetings, prepares orientation schedules for new residents and conducts regular meetings with new residents. His administrative tasks include assisting with logistical issues.
 
 
   
 
 
Dr. Omar was a co-author for "Mortality and comorbidities in Qatari patients with mental illness", and co-investigator in the research project on "Assessment of cognitive functions in Arab schizophrenia patients in Qatar." Currently, he a Principal Investigator on a research project assessing the relationship between social determinants and prevalence of postpartum depression through a cross-sectional study. He also participated in audit and Quality Improvement projects.
