Dr. Ali R. Barah

Dr Ali Barah is a graduate of University of Liege in Belgium. He completed his training program in radiology at university of Liege in Belgium. He then completed 2 years of fellowship program at University Paris-sud in France. He also worked as assistant professor at European hospital Georges Pompidou in Paris/France and as senior staff at Institute Gustave Roussy in Villejuif/France.

Dr Ali has joined the clinical imaging department in HMC in 2013 as consultant interventional radiologist. His currently deputy head of interventional radiology section in HMC. His is mainly interested in the development of interventional oncology services delivered to cancer patients in The National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR).

He is also interested in quality improvement and research projects related to the interventional radiology. He is currently the chair of clinical imaging research committee (CIRC) in HMC.
