Dr. Anil John is currently a Senior Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). He has been working for HMC since 2005.
Dr. John graduated from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, and further pursued his Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology.
He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the UK and has done advanced Hepatology fellowships from National University Hospital, Singapore.
He has over 50 publications in peer review journals and is currently the clinical lead for a colorectal cancer screening program in Qatar.
His areas of interest include therapeutic ERCP and Colorectal Cancer Screening.
