Assistant Professor Of Surgery At Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar, And A Senior Consultant Of Acute Care Surgery At Hamad Medical Corporation (Hmc) In Qatar.
Dr. Aljohary serves as a senior consultant of acute care surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgery (FACS), a fellow of the Arab Board of general surgery (CABS), a fellow of the Royal College of Surgery of Ireland (FRCSI), and an assistant professor of Weill Cornell Medical Qatar, and Qatar University Medical College. He is actively involved in education at HMC as he is a core faculty in ACGMEI accredited General Surgery Residency Program.
He has been actively involved in many administrative, educational, and research activities. He has multiple publications and presentations at local and international congresses. His research interests include minimally invasive surgery and acute care surgery.
He is a member of many hospital quality improvement committees, including the medical records committee, program evaluation committee, and perioperative quality improvement. He is a core faculty member in ACGMEI accredited General Surgery Residency Program.
