Dr. Khalid Ahmed (MBBS, MRCEd, CABS, FACS, MSc, FHEA)
Dr. Khalid Ahmed is an acute care surgery consultant at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar.
Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh since 2009. He graduated from the University of Khartoum in 2005. He completed general surgery residency training in 2014 and a fellowship in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery in 2018 at HMC.
Dr. Khalid was awarded a Master of Science in Clinical Research at Dresden International University, Germany, in 2020 and a Fellowship at the Higher Educational Academy, UK, in 2021. He was also awarded a Master of Science in Clinical Education at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, in 2023.
Dr. Khalid is a Senior Teaching Assistant at the Principles and Practice in Clinical Research (PPCR), Harvard University, USA, Core faculty of the acute care surgery fellowship and general surgery residency training programs, HMC, and a member of the General Surgery Examination Board at the Qatari Board of Medical Specialties.
