Dr. Kawther A-Nabi Mohamed, BScPharm, MBA
Dr. Kawther A-Nabi Mohamed received her BSc in Pharmacy from Zagazig University, Egypt, in 1986, and CBP Business Management - IBTA Florida. She has business administration training diploma from Qatar and Canada in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
In 1998, she joined Asser central hospital - KSA as a senior pharmacist in Inpatient, chemotherapy IV-admixture and TPN units. In 2002 she joined Hamad general hospital as a senior pharmacist in IV-admixture unit. In 2012 she became Alkhor Pharmacy Director and is responsible for the daily activities in all pharmacy departments.
Dr. Kawthar has upheld Quality assurance duties and responsibilities in the pharmacy from 2005 till present day, which assures the delivery of consistently high quality pharmacy services through conducting different quality tools, consisting of root cause analysis, medication error management, ADR reporting and drug use evaluation. She is a clinical instructor for Qatar university pharmacy students; in addition she leads the team responsible for implementation of JCI standards and policies. Dr. Kawthar acts as a secretary in the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee, and active member in Quality and Patient safety committee, Medication Management committee, Antimicrobial stewardship and Pharmacy Executives Committee.
