Dr. Mohamed Salem Abdelgelil, BSc (Pharm), MSc (Clinical Pharmacy)  
Clinical Pharmacy specialist, Hamad General Hospital 

Dr. Mohamed is a clinical pharmacist specialist at Hamad Medical Corporation. He received his Bachelors’ degree at Tanta University, Egypt. He joined Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in 2006. 

Dr. Mohamed completed his master degree in clinical pharmacology from Queen’s Belfast in the UK in 2014. He is currently practicing as a clinical pharmacy specialist with General Surgery team and Anticoagulation Clinic. In addition, he is a Continuous Professional Development officer at Hamad General Hospital.

Dr. Abdelgelil is a preceptor for the training of the undergraduate student and post-graduate PharmD. students of Qatar University, college of pharmacy. Dr. Abdelgelil served as Pyxis manager and integration of Cerner. He provides lectures in international and internal conferences. Dr. Mohamed is passionate about professional development and organized numerous education workshops, symposia and training course. Dr. Abdelgelil served as a member of the hospital society of Crohn’s disease and General surgery Quality team. He was awarded star of Excellence award in 2016 for anticoaguulation project. Dr. Abdelgelil had published research and participates in many qualitative and quantitative kinds of research. His research interest is currently focused on Anticoagulation, endocrine, and pharmacoeconomics.
