Abstracts must align with one of the four domains below. The listed subthemes are illustrative rather than exhaustive; other submissions that clearly support the conference theme are also welcome.

This domain provides an opportunity to showcase nursing and midwifery-led initiatives that empower professionals, strengthen clinical practice, and contribute to a sustainable and healthier region.

Submissions should present innovative, evidence-based projects grounded in clinical experience, such as new guidelines, models of care, quality-improvement initiatives, or practice interventions that promote safe, equitable, person-centered, and high-quality care.

Projects or initiatives should demonstrate measurable improvements in clinical outcomes, professional practice, service efficiency, patient experience, or healthcare sustainability. The project or initiative must have been implemented for a minimum of three years.

Education & Professional Development

This domain provides an opportunity to showcase innovative approaches in nursing and midwifery education that empower professionals, strengthen workforce capacity, and prepare nurses and midwives to contribute to a strong, sustainable, and healthier region.

Submissions should present innovations in education, training, curriculum design, simulation, digital learning, or continuing professional development that enhance professional competence, promote lifelong learning, improve patient outcomes, and support the future needs of healthcare systems across the Arab region.

Research & Innovation

This domain provides an opportunity for nurses and midwives to showcase research that strengthens professional practice, supports evidence-informed decision-making, and contributes to a strong, sustainable, and healthier region.

Submissions may include systematic inquiry or scientific investigation that generates, describes, evaluates, or explores issues relevant to nursing and midwifery practice, education, leadership, policy, workforce development, or health systems. Research should demonstrate clear relevance to improving health outcomes, advancing the professions, strengthening healthcare systems, or promoting sustainable solutions across the Arab region.

Leadership & Health-System Transformation

This domain provides an opportunity for nurses and midwives to showcase leadership initiatives that empower the professions, strengthen organizational and workforce capacity, and contribute to a strong, sustainable, and healthier region. Submissions may include innovative programs, processes, services, policies, or tools related to planning, organizing, leading, and evaluating nursing and midwifery practice, services, and health-system performance.
