Dr. Abdulla Alhaddad
Dr. Abdulla Alhaddad is a Colorectal Consultant and General Surgeon. He studied medicine in the UK at St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Dentistry and Medicine. He finished his internship in London – UK and then travelled to USA where he received his American Board of Surgery, American Board of Colorectal Surgery and American Board of Surgical Critical Care. He also received his Canadian Board of Surgery which was granted from the Royal Collage of Physician and Surgeon in Canada.
Dr. Alhaddad did his fellowship at American College of Surgeons, American Society of Colon & Rectum Surgeons and Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada. He has worked in university of Miami for 2 years as Assistant Professor in Clinical Surgery and was granted a voluntary assistant professor position afterward. Currently, he is the head of the Surgical Unit A at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital and head of surgical department at Dar Alshifa Hospital in Kuwait.
He is also a Clinical Tutor at the Kuwait Medical School. Dr. Alhaddad has multiple publications and was always involved with residents for training and research, in addition to the medical school teaching of the students. His main interest is colorectal diseases and he is the first Kuwaiti to be granted the certificate of American Board for Colon and Rectum. Recently, Dr. Alhaddad along with his fellow colorectal Surgeons has established the Kuwait Society of Colon and Rectum Surgeon (KSCRS) and he is the President.
