Professor Ayman Agha is a well-known German Surgeon across Germany and Europe with huge scientific and advanced technical surgical background. He is considered an international figure in the surgery field and has several historic achievements, e.g. among others, he is the first Surgeon to perform a successful living-donor parathyroid allotransplantation for postsurgical hypoparathyroidism in history. Also, in the field of minimal invasive surgery and robotic surgery he is an innovator and leading physician in Europe and worldwide. The medical focus of Dr. Agha lies in oncological surgery of the abdominal area. Especially for the treatment of malignant colon diseases (rectum and colorectal cancer) and in the area of chronic-inflammatory intestinal diseases (M. Crohn, colitis ulcerosa). Prof. Agha is one of a group of few renowned experts worldwide who established the guidelines for minimallyinvasive surgery techniques for colorectal cancer. Another focus lies on modern surgical procedures of cancer of the esophagus, the stomach, the liver and the thyroid gland. Dr. Agha is frequently asked surgeon for VIP patients in and outside of Germany and frequently asked presenter in international conferences and he led different committees in international societies. Dr. Agha received many awards for outstanding achievements nationally and internationally and was selected by the Journal Focus as a top German doctor in endocrine and colon surgery.
