Generation Amazing Foundation
Paulette Fortes Sanchez leads the Programmes and Operations divisions of Generation Amazing Foundation (GA), the human and social legacy initiative of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Generation Amazing uses the transformative power of football as a tool for social development to empower and upskill youth in Qatar and internationally.
With over 20 years' experience in the public and private sector, Paulette's role is instrumental to the development and implementation of GA strategy and deployment of programmes in Qatar and across continents. Teaming up with NGOs and institutions both locally and internationally, Paulette successfully supported GA' s engagement in over 75 countries, reaching over 1 million young people. Generation Amazing is supporting the implementation of the unique global partnership between the State of Qatar, the World Health Organization (WHO), and FIFA "Healthy FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ – Creating Legacy for Sport and Health" which promotes healthy lifestyle.
Paulette holds a master degree from Ecole Supérieure de Gestion (ESG), Paris, France, a Certificate in Football Management from UEFA and Universite de Lausanne, Switzerland and a diploma in Sciences, Paris, France.
