Mariem Sidenna - Biography
Mariem Sidenna is an associate genetic counselor specializing in Medical oncology; she has recently joined the genetic department at NCCCR hospital, working closely with patients with or at risk for hereditary cancer syndromes.
Mariem has completed her clinical master’s degree in genetic counseling from Qatar University, with her master’s thesis focusing on the prevalence and genotype phenotype correlation of Lynch syndrome in the state of Qatar.
Ms. Mariam has been trained in multiple subspecialties of medical genetics with a significant focus on cancer genetics as her primary area of interest.
In addition to her clinical experience, Mariam has immersed her effort in research. She has been interested in exploring areas like hereditary metabolic isovaleric acidemia and hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes.
