Wafaa Shehada
Wafaa Shehada is a clinical nurse specialist working with the breast cancer team at the National Centre for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR) since 2018. Previously she worked as a staff nurse in Radiotherapy at NCCCR for more than seven years. She obtained a master's degree in Nursing from the University of Calgary in 2018; her primary Experience is in medical oncology. She graduated with honors from the University of Calgary in 2015.
Ms. Shehada is a member of the survivorship clinic. She is an active core member of the Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT). She is an active member in many projects, including chemotherapy classes for newly diagnosed cancer patients, where she had the honor of winning the Hamad Medical Corporation Patient Experience Forum 2019.
