The Emergency Department of Cuban Hospital is located on the ground floor and there are two entrances – one for adults and another for children.

The Emergency Department is staffed and equipped to provide rapid and varied emergency care, especially for those who present with sudden and acute illness or who experience major trauma. We use a triage system of screening and classifying clients to determine priority of care, to allow the most efficient use of available manpower and equipment. The Department has 28 beds, with emergency services provided around the clock, seven days a week.

The Department works closely both with inpatient units and external medical services. Our skilled team of emergency care specialists is committed to providing high quality patient centric care.

All emergency visits, deemed emergency, are free of charge; however, if you are prescribed medication, all non-Qatari patients will need to pay a fee for these.

Visits by non-Qataris that are deemed non-emergency will be charged QR100. This fee does not cover any medications. If you are prescribed medication you will need to pay for these as well.
