Dr. Saleh Baeesa
Professor and Consultant Neurological Surgeon at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre
Dr. Saleh received Neurosurgery FRCSC (1997) and Pediatric Neurosurgery (1998) from the University of Ottawa, ON, Canada before eventually becoming a teaching staff at King Abdulaziz University Hospital (KAU) (1998-now).
He established a Neurosurgery service in 1998 and training program of Neurosurgery on 2003 at KAUH. He joined King Fahad Research Center of KAU for basic Neurosciences research on brain tumors and neuro-degenerative disease.
His research interests are : Surgery for Brain Tumors, Epilepsy Surgery, Spine Surgery, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Vascular Neurosurgery.
In 1998, he founded and established the Neurosurgery division of surgery at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. In 2021, he established the Neurosurgery division of Surgery at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah.
