Pedro J. Caraballo
Pedro J. Caraballo, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He serves as a consultant in both the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences at Mayo Clinic. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics, Dr. Caraballo has over 20 years of experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating computer-based clinical systems to enhance patient care.
He currently leads the implementation of clinical decision support interventions within the integrated Mayo Clinic electronic medical record. In addition to his clinical and administrative responsibilities, Dr. Caraballo conducts research focused on clinical informatics.
