Prof. Mazin Jawad Al Khabouri, an esteemed ENT Senior Consultant at Oman's Ministry of Health, boasts a distinguished career marked by leadership and academic prowess. Born on September 21, 1957, he pursued a remarkable educational journey, earning his MBBCh from Ain Shams University, FRCS ENT from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow, and a PhD from University College London, showcasing his dedication to advancing medical knowledge.

Commencing as an ENT surgeon in 1984, Dr. Al Khabouri swiftly ascended, serving as Head of the ENT Department, and overseeing ENT Services until February 2023. Beyond clinical roles, he advised the Minister of Health on Clinical Affairs (2010-2014), displaying his commitment to healthcare governance.

A visionary leader, he held pivotal roles as Director General of Private Health Establishments (2015-Nov 2021) and Khoula Hospital's Director General until Feb 2023. His influence extended to medical education, presiding over the Arab Board ENT Program (2013-March 2023) and chairing the ENT Residency Training Program (2006-2018) at Sultan Qaboos University.
