After obtaining her Bachelor of Science and Medical Diploma, Dr SL Sheibani did her Otolaryngology training at the University of Pittsburgh and School of Medicine, United States.
Dr. Al Sheibani is a senior clinical lecturer at Sultan Qaboos University, College of Medicine & Health Sciences since January 2011, a trainer at Oman Medical Specialty Board since 2009, Assistant program director at Oman Medical Specialty Board, January 2018, OMSB Arab board representative since 2017, Member of Arab Board examination committee since January 2018.
She has also been a Chairperson of the OMSB examination subcommittee since 2012 and a reviewer of Oman Medical Journal, 2014, and Sultan Qaboos University Journal. Dr Al Sheibani had several publications in reputable journals. Dr. Al Sheibani has been awarded numerous awards for her community service activities and her scientific contributions.
