Professor Hassab is in the Faculty at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Alexandria Faculty of Medicine. He graduated from the Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in 1981 and completed an ENT Residency in 1985 at the same medical school.
He was a Rhinology Fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from 1989 to 1990. He was awarded a Rhinology Fellowship at the University College of London in 1992. He has a special interest in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery, with more than 40 publications in national and international periodicals and books on sinus surgery.
Prof. Hassab is on the International Society of Inflammation and Allergy of the Nose (ISIAN) board of directors. He served as an invited speaker and guest faculty member for numerous international conferences and rhinology and sinus surgery courses.
