Dr. Hamed Al-Ibrahim has recently joined the policy department at the Social and Economic Survey Research Institute (SESRI) at Qatar University. With a strong foundation in public policy analysis and a specialization in artificial intelligence applications in health, Dr. Al-Ibrahim builds on years of experience from international organizations and research institutes. His previous role as an Assistant Policy Researcher at the RAND Corporation focused on integrating AI technologies to enhance decision-making, significantly improving efficiency and policy outcomes. Dr. Al-Ibrahim’s expertise spans healthcare, education, and national security, with a focus on leveraging AI for impactful, data-driven solutions.
He holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy Analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School, where his dissertation explored the potential for AI assistance in funding research, an MD from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and an EMBA from HEC Paris.
