Dr. Tanvir Alam is an Associate Professor at the College of Science and Engineering, Hamad bin Khalifa University. His research focuses on applying artificial intelligence (AI) to diagnose and prognosis of communicable and non-communicable diseases, including cancer.
Currently, he is investigating the roles of RNAs, their transcription regulation, and multifunctional peptides in various diseases and utilizing AI techniques to enhance personalized healthcare. He is a member of the FANTOM Consortium and has served as a reviewer for several international conferences and reputed journals.
