Denise Howard MD MPH CDE 

Denise Howard was born and raised in the US with a medical degree and Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Following medical school, Dr. Howard completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh's Magee Women's Hospital in 1997. She then undertook a fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Michigan where she was an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Howard was in private practice from 2001 until she moved to Abu- Dhabi in 2010 where she worked as a Consultant Gynecologist/Urogynecologist at Corniche Hospital and then at HealthPlus Clinics. She joined Al Noor Hospital Group in February 2013 where she was Head of Department at the Khalifa campus and Corporate Clinical Lead for Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Certified Physician Executive. She is also a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, American Association for Physician Leadership, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Howard has been working with Sidra since 2014 as an Obstetrician as well as Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Associate Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Clerkship at Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar.
