Hassan Mobayed, MD
Dr. Hassan Mobayed graduated from the University of Mosul in Iraq in 1988 (MBChB). He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Doha, Qatar and ABHS-Internal Medicine in 1999.
He completed a clinical fellowship in Adult Pulmonary Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar in 2002 and clinical fellowship in Adult Allergy/Immunology, University of Toronto, Canada in 2008. He has worked as a Senior Consultant in Allergy/Pulmonary, at the Department of Medicine at Hamad General Hospital, HMC since 2009.
He has been part of the core faculty of the Arab Board Training Program in Internal Medicine, Hamad General Hospital from 2010, the core faculty Adult Pulmonary Fellowship Program from 2012 and Associate Program Director and core faculty in Adult Allergy/Immunology Fellowship Program at HMC since 2014.
He is a member of the Arab Board Examination Committee in the Department of Medicine and an examiner in the Arab Board Clinical Exam.
He has been an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar since 2013 and an instructor in ALS from European Resuscitation Council since 2000.
He is a Reviewer for the Journal of Allergy and Therapy, Ibnosina Journal of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease and has published many papers in medicine, pulmonary and allergy in local and international journals.
