Dr. Moune Jabre
Dr. Moune Jabre obtained her Doctorate of Medicine with honors from Boston University School of Medicine in 2005 then went on to residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown University / Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. In addition to her involvement in multiple quality improvement initiatives at Women and Infants at Brown University, she was dedicated to caring for underserved women and to training medical students and residents in academic excellence as evidenced by numerous “Excellence in Teaching” Awards. Dr. Jabre is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She skillfully provides a full range of obstetric and gynecologic medical and surgical services.
Dr. Jabre has lived in several countries in the Middle East and Europe and is able to speak English, Arabic, French and basic Spanish. She has an exceptional ability to practice culturally-competent medicine and to thrive in a multitude of environments. This led her to join Sidra Medical and Research Center in 2014 where she continues to provide the highest level of patient care, medical education and leadership. Her clinical interests include evaluation and management of ectopic pregnancy, gynecologic and 1st trimester ultrasound, emergency obstetric and gynecologic medicine. Academic interests include medical education, remediation and mentoring.
