After graduation from Khyber medical college in Pakistan with MBBS degree, I completed the basic specialist training with MRCPI and higher specialist training with CCST in acute and general medicine from Royal College of Physicians Ireland in 2013. I worked as a consultant physician in General and Acute medicine at Cavan and Navan General Hospital. I worked also a lecturer and tutor in University College Dublin affiliated with St Vincent’s university hospital where my main responsibly was to facilitate and implement the teaching curriculum of the medical student at St Vincent’s university hospitals as well as to help organise the examination including OSCE. My special interest is in respiratory medicine and has worked at respiratory department in St Vincent and Tallaght university hospitals. I worked as research fellow at the same institution where the role of Myofibroblast in progression of sarcoidosis and effect of TLR 3 in sarcoidosis was studied. I have presented my work at different forum including Irish thoracic society. I joined Hamad General Hospital in 2014 as consultant physician. I am also working as assistant professor of clinical medicine at Weill Cornell medical college.  I am a member of operational committee of acute medical unit at Hamad general Hospital. My other roles includes  a lead physician for the implementation of educational curriculum at AMAU,  member of core faculty of internal medicine residency programme as well as member of the research committee of residency programme . I am a one of the lead physician of the clinical pathway committee which is a part of quality improvement project to facilitate the formation of pathway to standardise the clinical practice. I am actively involved in mentoring the residents in their audit and quality programme.
