Marian Abdullahi Adan
Marian is a Registered Nurse with a wealth of experience and expertise in patient care. With her experience as an Emergency Nurse and Clinical Care Coordinator for Adolescent Medicine, she is currently an acting Nurse Educator for Pediatric Service. She has a passion for enhancing patient experience and improving the quality of care for patients. Her special interest on policies that affect children and family welfare has driven her desire to improve healthcare for young patients. She has worked on some projects that enhance the patient experience and satisfaction. Her published works include Corneal Confocal Microscopy Demonstrates Sensory Nerve Loss in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder; The Starving Brain: Founding a Novel Pediatric Eating Disorders Program in the State of Qatar poster presentation and published in the American Academy of Pediatrics.
