SHEFEENA AHAMED 
Senior Clinical Dietician, Hamad Medical Corporation

Ms. SHEFEENA AHAMED is a Senior Clinical Dietician at Hamad Medical Corporation, where she has worked for 12 years as a Rehab Dietician with the stroke rehabilitation team. 

She has completed a registered dietician course and an active member of the Indian Dietetic Association. She graduated from Mahatma Gandhi University with a master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. 

She serves as a mentor and preceptor of dietetics students at Qatar University and trains newly joined dieticians at HMC. She is an author of the ‘Food waste management’ chapter in the “Research Innovations in Diet, Nutrition, and Dietetics guidebook”, published in 2022.

She is conducting and promoting research at QRI Dietetics Department, as well as a member in the QRI Research Committee and currently undergoing a quality improvement project titled ‘Patient Satisfaction Survey’, in Stroke Rehabilitation, QRI. 

She has received “Memento and Certificate" for spearheading the weight-loss challenge initiative run by the MGM organization in association with Hamad Medical Corporation and an author of several articles in 2020 and 2021 in Indian publications about diet services and nutrition.
