Salah Adarbeh
Assistive Technology coordinator
Salah Adarbeh, the Occupational Therapy Second in Charge in QRI Occupational Therapy Department and, currently holds the position of Assistive Technology Coordinator at QRI.
Salah is a graduate of Hashemite University in Jordan, earning his degree in 2003. He began his career as an occupational therapist with the Jordan Ministry of Health, where he dedicated five years to the field before relocating to Qatar in 2013.
In Qatar, Salah continued to contribute significantly to the healthcare sector, having worked at Rhumaila Hospital and later at Qatar Rehabilitation Institute (QRI).
As an occupational therapy specialist and certified NDTA™ therapist, Salah possesses extensive experience in various settings, including in-patient, outpatient, and Assistive Technology.
Salah is recognized for his pioneering work in creating and developing Low Tech Assistive Technology projects.
These initiatives showcase his commitment to innovation, involving the design and construction of tools and devices aimed at promoting patient independence across different domains.
Furthermore, Salah actively engages in research to substantiate the effectiveness of his innovations, contributing valuable evidence to the field.
