Dr. Dina is a graduate of Cairo University medical school (with a Medical Degree in Surgery and Internal Medicine), she then obtained her master’s degree in clinical pathology from Cairo University. In 2008, she was awarded her doctorate degree in Hematologic and Oncologic Laboratory Medicine from National Cancer Institute-Cairo University.
Dr. Dina joined Hamad Medical Corporation in 2011 and is currently holding a post of consultant hematopathologist in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. Her academic contributions extend to her appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Pathology at Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC-Q) in 2018.
Dr. Dina plays a crucial role as a faculty member in Anatomic Pathology Training and Hematology Fellowship programs, both ACGMEI accredited which reflects her commitment to advancing the field. She is an active member of several local and international committees and organizations including the American Society of hematology (ASH), European Society of Hematology (EHA) and European Association for Hematopathology (EAHP).
Dr. Dina is a distinguished professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience in the field of hematology. She has several publications in the field of hematology with special interest in hematopoietic neoplasms and diagnostic platforms of lymphoid malignancies.
