Dr. Hameed is a Senior Consultant Pulmonologist at Hamad Medical Corporation and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar.
In addition, he serves as the Associate Program Director of the Pulmonology Fellowship Training at HMC, contributing significantly to the education and training of future pulmonologists.
As the lead transplant physician, Dr. Hameed played a pivotal role in successfully establishing Qatar's lung transplant program, showcasing his commitment to advancing healthcare in the region.
He completed his qualifications and training in the United Kingdom and served as a College Tutor for the Royal College of Physicians in the UK, demonstrating leadership in medical education.
