Dr. Tasleem Raza
MD, MS, FCCP

Dr. Tasleem Raza, a distinguished senior consultant in adult pulmonology and critical care medicine at HMC, brings a wealth of international expertise to the field. After graduating from Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Raza pursued advanced training in the UK, achieving an MRCP and MSc in Chest Medicine. 

His journey continued in the USA, where he completed an internal medicine residency and pulmonary/critical care fellowship and earned an MS in Epidemiology.

With a significant academic background, Dr. Raza served as faculty in the USA for six years before relocating to Qatar in 2005. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine and demonstrates comprehensive proficiency in his field. 

​Dr. Raza's primary interests lie in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), ventilator management, interstitial lung disease (ILD), and pulmonary hypertension.

As a seasoned professional with a global perspective, Dr. Raza enriches the medical community with his diverse experiences and deep understanding of pulmonary and critical care medicine.
