Kathy is the Associate Director of Quality and Compliance for Med-IQ, a medical education company. Her current role entails oversight of accredited educational activities for quality and accreditation standards and authoring risk management content.
Kathy has been a registered nurse for over 34 years, with experience in the ED, critical care and continuing medical education areas. Kathy received her BSN from Michigan State University and her MSN from Western Governors University, with a specialty in Nursing Education. She has presented nationally at the AACN’s National Teaching Institute and Critical Care Exposition, the Alliance annual meeting and at ASHRM. Kathy is the immediate Past-President of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management’s Board of Directors.
